Natalia Perez was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. She picked up her dad's camera before her junior year in high school and fell in love with darkroom photography. She spent two years in traditional photography classes before spending her free time learning emerging digital photography techniques and post-production editing. She has a passion for dance and theatre performance photography and has had the opportunity to shoot for various dance, ballet, and theatre companies in the Valley. She also enjoys fashion shoots and helping models creatively build their portfolios. Natalia loves finding beauty in every subject and constantly strives to capture their personality on film.  She is currently a student at ASU majoring in Global Studies with an emphasis is Violence, Conflict, and Human Rights. She hopes someday to also be able to use her photography to encourage awareness of the various struggles and human rights abuses faced by people in developing countries around the world.
